What We Do
Every Sunday, we worship together through singing, preaching, praying, and taking the Lord’s Supper. As a church, we are committed to gospel-centered expository preaching, gospel-centered music, and the observance of the ordinances.
Meet Up With Us In Our Small Groups
Small groups allow for members and friends of RCM to connect by sharing a meal together, and studying the scriptures together. We currently have 3 family small groups, and several other Bible studies. Our schedule roughly follows the local school schedule, with a break for summer and the Christmas holiday season.

Our goal as a church is to be constantly raising up church planters and sending them out to reach all of Manatee County for Jesus. RCM’s structure, leadership model, physical meeting space, and philosophy of ministry are all centered on this one common goal of planting evangelistic churches all over this area.
From our very first year as a church, RCM has financially invested in new church plants. To date, we have had the joy of being small sponsors of 2 other church plants in our area. If you would like to learn more about becoming a part of RCM’s church planting efforts, email Paul at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Elementary School outreach
During the school year, members of RCM share and show Jesus to up to 40 kids at Rowlett Elementary School using materials provided by Child Evangelism Fellowship. Our weekly investment in the children at the school also provides additional ministry opportunities throughout the school year. Through this outreach, we are seeing children trust in Jesus and follow him in believer’s baptism through the local church.
Middle School Outreach
At RCM We worship every Sunday at Rowlett Middle School. We have a casual atmosphere where we worship through music, preaching and the taking of the Lord’s supper.
Our typical preaching and teaching style is to work through entire books of the Bible, week by week. Each message stands on its own, but also builds on a common thread of the book.
We place a high value on the family unit – whatever that looks like for you. As a result, we ask for kids and students from fourth grade and higher to participate with their parents in our worship time. We have a safe and clean place for younger children where they will be taught a Bible story and encouraged with games, a craft and a snack.
With that said, children of all ages are always welcome in our worship time.
Back to School Outreach
Each year, RCM partners with other churches and a local charity organization to help kids get ready to go back to school. We use this specific outreach as a way of sharing and showing Jesus to families by meeting a direct physical need.
As a cooperating church in the Southern Baptist Convention, RCM is able to be a part of international mission work all over the world, as well as mission work all over Florida and the rest of North America.
